Our homilist about the antithesis of sin and love whereas the music possibly looked at the transition of mercy. We haven't done the Haugen piece for a while - it is an indulgence. A commentary on the story of Job which does not really resolve the question.
The final hymn was our national moment - we sing it regularly at Graduations as a tune which is known (by at least rugby fans. Though I think it is a good tune I am not wholly convinced it is a tune for singing. But then this was one of things we received positive comments after Mass.
